Welcome to ProBlade's Scissor Sharpening Services 

Scissors are essential toolkit for all hairdressers, barbers, dog groomers. However, scissors quickly becoming blunted with everyday use and regular maintenance is required to ensure high quality, precision cutting.

It is recommended that ALL scissors are serviced and sharpened every 4-6 months or as soon as any visible damage occurs.

ProBlade specialise in sharpening all types of scissors, including:

• Thinning & Chunker Scissors

You can be assured with ProBlade that your scissors will be in safe, expert and experienced hands! On receipt, we will dismantle and inspect your scissors to identify any damage in preparation for sharpening. Replacement of any worn component parts will be included in the sharpening price. Sharpening is then undertaken with quality equipment before our selection of high-grade Japanese water stones are used to polish your scissors and ensure a gleaming finish.

How to use ProBlade Scissor Sharpening Services:

We offer both drop-off and postal options.

If you select to drop your item(s) off at Riseholme Country Store, payment can be made for sharpening services on return collection.   

For our postal services, orders should be placed through our Website Shop and payment made online or via telephone before your item is returned.

Shipping:

Royal Mail First Class postage, including £50 insurance, is offered free of charge.  However, if your items are of significant excess value we strongly recommend that you use either our 24hour Tracking Service or Special Delivery.
